It's one of my favorites because of the flow, moving sequentially from one posture to another. It's also a fun sequence to add postures too. I've gone from the usual twelve Sun Salutation "stations" to about twenty!
Once you no longer need to look at the instructor for the order or the form of the poses, your mind and body unite as you move through the space, perhaps reaching further than the last time, twisting further, holding longer... but never in competition with anything or anyone, because it's your practice and yours alone.
Your reward is more peace of mind, something you can share with the world.
Yoga is a gift that keeps giving.
